Today the first videoconference of First Steps into Learning & Teaching in HE took place.

This course is organized in a different way than Dr. Bonk MOOC. There’s a webpage as a course guideline and there’s a Moodle platform where the participation takes place in forum. It was requested to each participant to create or use a personal blog.

I was able to participate in part of the videoconference, which run in Blackboard Collaborate, at my office.

The interaction with participants took place by chat and board. Some slides and questions were projected and people wrote on the board, in a kind of brainstorm. I prefer this option to polls.

As many teachers are participating the level of interventions is quite good.
